A touching story of compassion and love that takes place about three decades after the Israelites first settled in the land of Canaan. Shimon is a self-centred elder who wants to avenge the death of his favourite son, Ahmik, on his stepson Racham. Gavriella believes in her son's innocence and helps him flee to Sigem. Shimon believes that he will be the instrument in Yahweh's hands to ensure that Racham pays for the accident that took Ahmik's life.
